From Ålesund to the start at Bud
Ålesund - vestnes - molde - bud
30 + SM´s idling in the underground parking at Kremmergaarden, Aalesund. What an experience that might be! We have pre-payed your tickets, so no worries about time-consuming line in front of the card reader. Follow directions on your way out. We are heading for the ferry from Vestnes to Molde, but before that, we might drive through a nice little piece of Ålesund.
We will stop for fuel when needed. Shell at Sjøholt has 98 octane from a couple of pumps.
This leg is just transport really - to Vestnes/Molde. The ferry is nice enough, make sure to try the specialty “svele” with your coffee. Follow the instructions from the ferry crew when onboarding and leaving the ferry. Remember the handbrake!
Molde is famous for its jazz festival in July. Since this is September, we just continue towards Bud as fast as we can - within the speed limits that is.
We will find a spot to park and enjoy the nice atmosphere and our lunch.
